  • Overview

    The Junior Photographic and Video Content Creator will be responsible for the administration, organization and support work involved in producing photography. To successfully fill this position, the individual must be able to work on multiple initiatives (in various stages) simultaneously, while producing them in a timely manner based on various schedules and objectives set forth by Online Marketing Manager. This individual will need to escalate and prioritize projects as needed.                                                                                                        


    • Photograph and retouch all product images for a website redesign.
    • Assist the Director of Production, Director of Photography, business unit leaders and any additional staff in shooting and retouching product photography for regular sales/marketing — including labeling, batching and loading files to the server for web use.
    • Assist in demo video shoots with set up, shooting and post production.
    • Generally assist the studio, creative and business team in video, photo and admin tasks.
    • Set up backdrops and lighting to photograph products as needed
    • Retouch photography to a high standard
    • Maintain consistent naming conventions for files and look/feel of photography
      and videos
    • Coordinate where video and photography assets are stored and create back-up copies
    • Travel to Brooklyn studio for additional shoots once a week or more, as required (travel costs would be reimbursed)


    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
    • Proficient in Photography/Retouching/Video Production
    • Should possess good fundamental understanding of all facets of video production
    • Team player and can do attitude
    • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
    • Ability to prioritize within tight deadlines
    • Knowledge of audio and video technology a plus: Pro Tools, Adobe Suite (Premiere / Resolve)
    • Ability to shoot video and edit a plus
    • Audio recording and mixing a plus
    • Willingness to learn and develop video production skills, such as shooting second camera, recording audio, audio mixing, editing and color grading
