  • Overview

    D'Addario is looking for a National Accounts Specialist to join our Sales team.  The National Accounts Specialist will assist with the overall sales objectives and annual projected sales goals for assigned accounts: Guitar Center, Guitar Center Direct, Music & Arts, Sam Ash and Sweetwater Sound.  This position is full-time and is based out of our Farmingdale office with minimal travel required.

    • Establishing and building relationships by phone and email with the retail and on-line sales associates for all National Accounts.
    • Regular outbound and incoming communication with all Guitar Center, Sam Ash and Music & Arts retail store associates with key initiatives as determined by the Director of National Accounts. 
    • Coordinate Meetings at D’Addario with assigned accounts, including creating agendas, coordinating schedules and leading meetings at D’Addario HQ.
    • Establish regular customer web-site audits with the objective of discovering opportunity and assuring current graphics and content.
    • Assist in the submission of tickets for Marketing department and credit requests for Finance as they pertain to all National Accounts
    • Regularly log all key National Account communication and updates in current CRM
    • Daily Communication with the Director of National Accounts and the National Accounts Manager.
    • Data input of all new products and price updates to each national account through their various formats and portals.    
    • Bi-weekly sales reporting sell through maintenance, promotion tracking, other Excel reports as required.  


    • 3-5 years of experience in Sales
    • Experience in the music industry strongly preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including telephone and email communication skills
    • A strong background and proven track record in the E-commerce field, and in-depth knowledge of the music retail operations
    • A demonstrated ability to understand key account objectives, sales goals and build professional business relationships
    • Strong computer aptitude. Intermediate Microsoft Office experience is required
    • Significant reporting and data management skills are required
