The Senior Events Manager is responsible for planning & producing all internal & external events across each of D’Addario’s brands. This role will work collaboratively with the Business Units and Marketing to ensure all events are strategically planned, properly scoped, deliverables clearly identified, & key milestones established so the entire process from beginning to end of an event is seamless & well executed.  Senior Events Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall health of all events in their portfolio, including financials, resources, risks, inventory & relationships. As part the Project Management team, foster improved efficiencies & company effectiveness.   

 

This is a hybrid role and will require the candidate to work onsite in the Farmingdale, Long Island Headquarters office three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all planning, scoping & budgeting for brand activations & sponsorships at festivals and shows
  • Act as event producer ensuring seamless execution, handling all logistics & executional details, including venue selection,registration, inventory control, travel, required show creative, printed materials coordination and planning.
  • Research/identify relevant industry events for brand activation, including trade shows, conferences, festivals, and customer-focused experiences.
  • Collaborate with Business Units & Strategy to develop annual event plans & strategy aligning with marketing goals, target audience, brand experience and messaging.
  • Partner with the Strategy to innovate our event approach, enhancing our brand’s presence, our customer’s experience, & lead acquisition efforts.
  • Work with Business Units, Strategy & Creative to design & deliver engaging brand experiences that foster audience engagement, maximize exposure & lead generation and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Digital and OEM teams on promotions & partnership activations
  • Plan & manage Business Unit team’s utilization at events throughout the year
  • Prepare monthly reports on events, using dashboards and scorecards.
  • Client point-of-contact & point of escalation for issues on all sponsorships & internal & external events
  • Plan & coordinate all external guest visits to D’Addario HQ (factory tours, clinics & presentations).
  • Provide Support for Business Units’ school Clinician Programs.
  • Contribute to process development, knowledge sharing, & overall discipline maturity, identifying issues and risks and creating solutions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years experience in a Branded Events role.
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Successfully led large-scale accounts & managed multiple Projects across multiple programs, including proficiency with budgets, scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Experienced with Project Management software and MS Office.
  • Ability to lead & inspire cross functional teams at all levels, influence and build strong professional relationships.
  • Strong capabilities in Office applications: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a high performing and demanding environment.
  • Create and analyze data, translating that into recommendations for improvement.
  • Effectively communicate (orally and through written communications) with staff on all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, extraordinary diligence, solution-oriented way of working.
  • Ability to work autonomously and provide progress reports.
  • Continuous Improvement passion and Change Management capability.

 

The base salary range for this role would be commensurate with experience: $84,000-94,000 per year
