We’re hiring an ERP Applications Analyst – Infor XA. Are you a skilled Infor XA ERP professional with a passion for improving business systems in manufacturing and distribution? Join our team and play a key role in driving innovation and operational efficiency!  We’re looking for a Techno-Functional Analyst with 5+ years of ERP experience—particularly with Infor XA ERP—to help us design, build, and support smart, scalable solutions across our enterprise.  At D’Addario, our success is built on a culture of curiosity, passion, candor, family, and responsibility 

 

Enterprise applications are at the heart of how D’Addario operates—powering everything from manufacturing and distribution to finance and eCommerce.  In this role, you will be responsible for defining, analyzing, developing, testing, and maintaining both custom and third-party software applications, with a strong focus on Infor XA ERP modules.  You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to support and optimize ERP solutions across the organization.  This will also include research, design, documentation, and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle.  The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of business functions, processes and practices and will work closely with our technical partners and Business Engagement to optimize the effectiveness of technology against all business levels. This is a hybrid role and will require the candidate to work onsite in the Farmingdale, Long Island Headquarters office three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to implement and support business initiatives. 
  • Leverage expertise in Infor XA, Warehouse, Distribution, and Order Management to support process improvements. 
  • Analyze system transactions and identify areas for operational enhancements. 
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance ERP application programs using Control Language (CLLE), RPG, IBM ILE, System Link, Powerlink and embedded SQL.  
  • Triage and resolve software issues, including root cause analysis and documentation. 
  • Develop and implement custom programs and configurations aligned with business needs. 
  • Partner with Business Engagement and end-users to gather requirements, design, test, and deploy ERP solutions. 
  • Support the installation and configuration of third-party ERP-related software. 
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and lifecycle activities according to SDLC methodologies. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout project lifecycles to ensure business continuity. 
  • Enforce development standards and IT best practices across all phases. 
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives and service level agreements (SLAs). 
  • Interface with third-party vendors and troubleshoot integration issues. 
  • Respond to user support requests and provide timely resolution for daily operational issues. 
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas and feedback. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing and distribution operations. 
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems, with specific focus on Infor XA ERP—including Manufacturing, Distribution, Order Management and Financials. 
  • Proven experience in ERP implementations, upgrades, and customizations. 
  • Strong background in developing business and functional requirements, impact assessments, and business cases. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both in-person and remote settings. 
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—across all organizational levels. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a commitment to quality and timeliness. 
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to change. 
  • Solid understanding of data integrity, audit, and compliance procedures. 

 

The base salary range for this role would be commensurate with experience: $125,000 to $135,000 per year
