Overview

D'Addario is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Manufacturing & Distribution to help design, optimize, and support the business systems that power our global manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, and customer fulfillment operations. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring enterprise applications effectively support operational goals, drive efficiency, and enable scalable growth across the organization.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications, this position also maintains a dotted line relationship to the EVP of Operations to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and operational priorities.

 

Enterprise applications are central to how D'Addario manages production, inventory, warehousing, order fulfillment, and customer service. In this role, you will partner closely with Manufacturing, Distribution, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, and Operations leadership teams to support day-to-day business processes, resolve application issues, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver solutions that enhance performance across the enterprise. This is a hybrid role. You'll work in our Farmingdale, New York office 3 days per week.

Compensation: 

We offer a competitive total compensation package. The base salary range for this role is $100,000-$125,000 and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to Manufacturing, Distribution, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Operations teams.
  • Support the daily operation of enterprise applications by troubleshooting issues, coordinating resolutions, and ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for system enhancements, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional requirements for technical teams, developers, and third-party partners.
  • Analyze existing workflows and business processes to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, automation, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and support testing activities, including test planning, test case development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment validation.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, system support procedures, training materials, and business requirements documentation.
  • Develop and monitor operational reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that support business decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to understand business challenges, priorities, and strategic objectives.
  • Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting business operations in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and related enterprise applications that support manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, customer service, order management, and distribution operations.
  • Proven track record partnering with operational business teams to identify, analyze, and implement process improvements.
  • Experience supporting application enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or other business systems initiatives.
  • Understanding of operational controls, data integrity standards, and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience creating operational reporting, dashboards, and KPI metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
