D'Addario is seeking a motivated Junior Full Stack Engineer to help develop and support modern enterprise applications that power our manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, finance, customer service, and eCommerce operations. This hybrid position is based in Farmingdale, NY and requires onsite attendance Tuesday through Thursday. 

 

This role is ideal for an early-career software engineer with experience building web applications using modern technologies such as React or Next.js, TypeScript, .NET, REST APIs, and SQL databases.

 

You'll work alongside experienced developers and business stakeholders on high-impact projects involving enterprise application modernization, ERP integrations, cloud technologies, AI-enabled automation, and customer-facing platforms. Compensation: 

We offer a competitive total compensation package. The base salary range for this role is $75,000-$80,000 and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

Full Stack Application Development

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications.
  • Build responsive user interfaces using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and reusable components.
  • Develop REST APIs and backend services using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET.
  • Support secure authentication, authorization, logging, and exception-handling patterns.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support integrations across ERP, WMS, Shopify B2B/D2C, EDI, and third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Database Development

  • Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and data-access layers using PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Assist with indexing, profiling, and query tuning to improve application performance.
  • Support data migration, synchronization, and integration efforts.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Support Azure application deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Manage source control using Git and GitHub.
  • Assist with Docker configuration of applications and use automated deployment practices where applicable.

AI & Automation

  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude or Codex to improve productivity.
  • Participate in workflow automation, proof-of-concept, and innovation initiatives involving AI technologies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1-3 years of software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or professional experience
  • Experience with modern frontend development using React or Next.js
  • Experience developing APIs or backend services using C#, .NET, or similar technologies
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly

Preferred

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
  • Experience working with ERP systems, integrations, or manufacturing-related applications
  • Exposure to Docker, microservices, and cloud-native application development
